The Supply Demand Management business area provides solutions to water companies, regulators and the supply chain to manage the balance between the supply and the demand for water. Our work includes demand management, leakage management, water efficiency and conservation and a strong capability in network and domestic metering.
Meter-related services include:
- Auditing, validation and uncertainty quantification for revenue, DMA & large meters,
- Long term meter performance deterioration analysis,
- Meter testing (in-situ & flow rig testing),
- Analysis of under registration for replacement planning or revenue maximisation,
- Advice on meter technologies, automatic meter reading and telemetry systems,
- Research on tariffs, impacts and costs/benefits of meter policies (free meter options, change of occupancy & compulsory metering policies).
